Vulnerable Population Registry
Candler County Emergency Management Agency is pleased to announce the launch of our Vulnerable Population Registry — a voluntary tool designed to help us identify residents who may need additional assistance before, during, or after an emergency. This registry is intended for individuals who:
• Depend on electricity for medical equipment (oxygen, CPAP, etc.)
• Have mobility, sensory, cognitive, or other functional limitations
• Live alone with no caregiver or support nearby
• Do not have reliable transportation in the event of an evacuation
By registering yourself or a loved one, you are helping first responders and emergency planners better prepare to assist those at higher risk during hurricanes, severe weather events, or extended power outages.
Please note:
This registry does not guarantee emergency services, and all individuals should still have a personal plan in place. The information collected is confidential and will only be accessed by Emergency Management and Candler County first responders during an emergency.
You can access the form and register here:

If you need assistance completing the form or have questions about eligibility, please contact our office directly.
Thank you for helping us keep Candler County prepared and resilient.
Sincerely,
Justin Wells
